There are usually three or more types of evaluation.
1. Compliance evaluation - Whether the factory obliges to the local law of land and ethics of business.
2. Technical evaluation - Competence for product development and experience of staff in type of product buyer needs. Machinery, cutting room(whether they have CAD or not), preparation, washing factilities etc.
3. Capacity Evaluation - Can the vendor meet the target requirement of the buyer.
4. System Evaluation - All the systems, like quality systems (AQL), reports like cut order report etc are in place or not. Test reports etc.
However, your question is very generic. Usually evaluaton takes place specific to the buyer's requirement and importing country's by-laws. |
